LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) – The following is a news release from the South Plains Food Bank:
West Texas Chevy Dealers have pledged $10,000 a year for the next five years to the South Plains Food Bank, totaling $50,000. This donation will make them a Cornerstone Partner of the SPFB, a distinguished group of businesses and organizations that have made a financial pledge to fight against hunger.
The West Texas Chevy Dealers are dedicated to giving back to the West Texas community. They have previously been a part of the SPFB Summer of Sharing as a core sponsor in addition to being the match sponsors for Match Month in September.
”The West Texas Chevy Dealers are thrilled to continue their partnership with the South Plains Food Bank and aid their mission of ending hunger across the community,” said John Zwiacher, President of the West Texas Chevy Dealers.
“We are extremely proud to have the West Texas Chevy Dealers be a part of our Cornerstone Partners family,” Vanessa Morelion, Communications Manager at the SPFB stated. “Not only have they pledged to support our mission of ending hunger, but they have also not stopped there and continue to be involved in various aspects.”
The partnership will be formally announced at a press conference on May 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the South Plains Food Bank.
