Donning their glow sticks, and cycle shoes, this group of cyclists were ready to work hard for wishes.
“So there’s like a whole bunch of people coming to ride bicycles for gatherings. There’s stuff here like waters in case they need waters for fun,” said Jordan, a Wish Kid.
CycleBar franchise owner Michelle Elder says giving back to the community is one of the core values of her company.
“Cycle giving is where we partner with charities. We do a ride and donate. One hundred percent of donations go back to that charity that we partnered with. We were so proud to have been approached and be a part of World Wish day,” said Elder.
The riders helped raise more than $1,000 which will help wish kids just like Jordan who volunteered and even participated in the ride.
Jordan says the Make-A-Wish Foundation not only made her dreams come true, but continues to support her in every way.
“I mean it was good, but then whenever they came into it, it was so much better because they helped support me in so many ways. Not even with having cancer but making me feel like I never had cancer,” said Jordan.
