Emily is 8-years-old, and it was tough to figure out what her one true wish is. She did know one thing for sure.
“I wanted to see princesses,” said Emily, a Wish Kid.
She’s going into the 3rd grade. Her mom says not to let this girlie girl fool you.
“She’s always been a tomboy in a dress. A rowdy child but always in a dress. When she was smaller she’d be in princess heels but jumping off the couch,” said Alejandra Casas.
Emily was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February.
So when the Make-A-Wish Foundation called, there were so many choices she didn’t quite know yet what she wanted to do.
“When we went to meet Erin and Angelica I’ve been trying to figure out what she wants. [Emily thought] ‘Maybe my wish could be to go spend the day at the park.’ They helped her figure it out. She likes fish, she likes water she likes princesses,” said Alejandra Casas.
Erin and Angelica surprised her with a trip to Disney World. So, which princess is she going to meet first?
“Elena, because she solves problems,” said Emily.
One more thing she’s looking forward to at the happiest place on Earth.
“I’ll get to have a makeover like Elena,” said Emily.
