Nearly every golf cart was full of Make-A-Wish supporters at the Las Brisas Summer Classic.

“Basically it’s a four man scramble. Each player pays an entry fee, everyone hits their ball and whoever has the best ball that’s where everyone moves their ball to. We have a first place, second place, and third place winner,” said Kendall Howard, organizer of the golf tournament, and owner of Las Brisas.

All the money goes to help the dreams of wish kids come true, like Gentry.

“It’s wonderful, it’s like a dream come true all of this,” said Gentry Tobias, wish kid.

She’s not the only family member changed by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“It was really kind of them. They help Make-A-Wish for other people,” said Tobias, Gentry’s little brother.

There were even some celebrity sightings on the golf course.

Mud Flap from KLLL participated in the golf tournament and said, “It’s absolutely incredible to come out and help with this organization because they care about kids and they care to make it possible and they’re into action and I like that.”

Organizer Kendall Howard is pleased with this year’s event. “We raise money through a lot of different events, this is just one of the events that I do and sponsor through one of my companies, Las Brisas. Anything to help raise money for  Make-A-Wish.”
