WHAT:
Approximately 600 Girl Scouts are expected to attend Cookies Now!, an event where girls age 5 to 18 pick up more than 85,000 packages of cookies to start their 2018 Girl Scout Cookie business.
S’mores are back! The crispy graham cookies, double-dipped in crème icing and covered with a chocolatey coating, proved to be an instant favorite following their debut in 2017. S’mores join returning favorites that include Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Shortbreads, Thanks-a-Lots and Lemonades. Some troops also sell gluten-free Trios.

9:00 a.m. – Ribbon Cutting hosted by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce
10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Girls pick up their initial stock of cookies
WHERE:
Indiana Avenue Baptist Church – 9507 Indiana Avenue, Lubbock, TX 79423
EVENT:
- Ribbon cutting hosted by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.
- Approximately 600 girls, ages 5-18, along with their parents, will pick up more than 85,000 packages of Girl Scout cookies to start their 2018 cookie business.
- Four to six 18-wheelers will deliver 7,000 cases of cookies to supply Lubbock-area girls with their initial stock of cookies.
- Members of our Media Corps, spokesgirls during the Girl Scout year, will be available to speak about the Girl Scout Cookie Program.
