The West Texas Home Builders Association announced they will once again host the ever-popular Home and Garden Show at the Lubbock Civic Center.
The event kicks off Friday, March 1st (4 – 8pm), continues Saturday, March 2nd (9am – 6pm), and concludes Sunday, March 3rd (12 – 6pm). Tickets can be purchased at the door and are only $5 a piece. Admission is free to children ages 12 and under. A portion of the proceeds benefit West Texas Hero Homes, building mortgage-free homes for local wounded warriors.
Almost 100 vendors with a variety of specialties will showcase the latest home and landscaping trends.

Due to popular demand, the kids’ Lego™ Home Building Contest, sponsored by Betenbough Homes, will return with fun prizes to the winners. Kids from 6 – 12 years old are encouraged to participate in the fun event offered Saturday (11am – 12pm & 3 – 4pm) as well as Sunday (2 – 3pm). Meet Dallas Master Gardener, Carolyn Hicks, who will be sharing her expertise in container gardening on Saturday and Sunday from 1 – 2pm. She will also be available in this year’s “Ask the Expert” booth that will be open to all event goers throughout the weekend. Located next to the Parade of Homes preview booth, professionals from a wide variety of specialty areas will be on hand to answer questions.
