Beginning this month, Eric Karr Photography will offer free photo shoots to anyone with special needs.
Karr says he became motivated to help others when his mother went through a traumatic experience.
“I think it’s important to take pictures of people with special needs to bring out their inner beauty because they don’t have to just lay there and live their lives,” Karr says.
Karr says he is devoted to continuing these free photo shoots for kids with disabilities for as long as he can.
“Everybody on the inside needs to feel special and by giving them some pictures, they will really make them feel more special,” Karr says.
Since he has begun this promotion, others have reached out to help Karr deal with the overwhelming amount of requests. Other photographers have offered to help him photograph the kids when needed.
Jaycee Caldwell, Miss Lubbock USA, has offered to help with hair and make up for those who request it.
