Lubbock Locals, The Rodriguez Twins are digital stars on the rise who have turned to the growing trend of live broadcasting on social media and have started to make a significant income. Sergio and Christian Rodriguez, were born in Lubbock and are students at South Plains College, but when they aren’t studying they are building a huge digital audience on free, social live broadcasting community called Live.me.
The app Live.me, lets anyone become a broadcaster and broadcast wherever and whenever they want with just a tap. They have shared their morning routines, workout regimens and go throughout their daily lives while broadcasting to a fan base of around 79,000 people.
The twins become social media famous of the social platform Vine, for their short comedy videos, and quickly built up a good reputation on Live.me. They have earned close to $7,000 from fans in response to their broadcasts.
Live.me allows the broadcasters to directly interact with their fans and get an opportunity to be themselves to a large audience. The Rodriguez twins just want to make their fans laugh and be themselves. They broadcast every Wednesday under the account “The Rodriguez Twins.”
