The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is scheduled to close the Loop 193 (Main Street), at MSF, intersection to traffic beginning Monday, March 20. The closure will allow crews to safely rebuild the intersection.

Both north- and southbound Loop 193 motorists will not have access to the intersection. Additionally, the westbound frontage road will also be closed to traffic. Drivers will be detoured to FM 179. The eastbound frontage will remain open and MSF mainlane traffic will not be impacted by the intersection closure.

Work to rebuild the intersection is anticipated to take four weeks to complete and is part of a $14.5 million project to rebuild the interchange by constructing a new bridge at Loop 193, build entrance and exit ramps and rehabilitate a segment of the frontage roads.

The work will take place weather permitting.
