Lubbock Police on Friday released a statement concerning a burglary of a business in the 1600 block of Marshall Street. Police said Joshua Brown, 36, was arrested and charged for two outstanding arrest warrants.

Arrestee: Brown, Joshua WM 36 years old; charged with Burglary of a Business (SJF), Evading Arrest/Detention (SJF), and two outstanding warrants
Synopsis:
LPD officers responded to a burglary alarm at Hanson Pipe & Products this morning around 3:20 am. Officers located an opening in the large gated perimeter and entered, suspecting a crime in progress. While checking the area the listed arrestee was observed and attempted to flee on foot. Officers apprehended the suspect after a short foot pursuit, and the arrestee was taken into custody. Stolen property was located inside, and recovered from, the subject’s vehicle, which was located inside the gated property. The listed arrestee was transported to the Lubbock County Detention Facility for booking.
