Last night, Sunday, July 3, 2016 at approximately 7:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a robbery just occurred at Stripes, 2025 Clovis Road. The suspect stood in line at the register with other customers. When he got to the counter, he placed one alcoholic beverage and one non-alcoholic beverage on the counter. The suspect then pulled up the front of his shirt and displayed a handgun in his waistband. The suspect demanded the employee give him the cash in the register and the employee complied. The suspect then fled the store with the cash and beverages to an awaiting car driven by a second suspect.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 6’00”, 180 lbs. wearing a black and red baseball cap and aviator sunglasses.
