The Lubbock Police Department launched an investigation into a report of a shooting in East Lubbock Saturday night.
LPD said officers received a call of shots fired at the 2100 block of E 30th Street just before 10:30 p.m.
Police said there was one report of a serious injury, and indicated that a juvenile may have been shot.
A photojournalist on scene said multiple ambulances arrived on the scene for possible injury transport.
Homicide investigators as well as members of the Juvenile Investigation team responded to the scene.
