Lubbock Police are investigating a reported shooting near the Sunset Square Extended Stay Motel in Central Lubbock.
The shooting was called in at 38th Street near Avenue P shortly before 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police said one person was shot, “supposedly in the face.”
A photojournalist at the scene observed a person being loaded into an ambulance.
Police told EverythingLubbock.com that officers on scene “haven’t said anything about an actual gunshot wound,” and that condition of any possible victims was not yet available.
