This week, Lubbock Police released video regarding an embezzlement call they received December 4 just after 6:30 p.m.
“The suspect and the cashier worked together to embezzle money from Burlington Coat Factory,” Lubbock Police said.
A police report said $300 was taken from the business at 6050 Marsha Sharp Freeway. A representative of the business told police an employee took money from the register and gave it to a second suspect.
Police have not yet been able to locate the man who was seen in surveillance video leaving the store with the money. An image from the surveillance video is included in this story.
