Volunteers from the Lubbock Police Department will meet up to play basketball with the Y*100 youth at the YWCA Livermore Center on November 14th at 4:00 p.m.  The YWCA Livermore Center is located at 3101 35th St. and admission is free.

“This is a great opportunity for the Lubbock Police Department to make connections with the Y*100 youth.  Getting to know these youth will help to steer them to make the best decisions in life and will help bridge the challenged connection between youth and the police,” Ray Mendoza, LPD Public Information Officer said.

The Y-100 program at the YWCA has a group of young men (Middle & High School) who play basketball afterschool at the Livermore gym at 35th & Flint, said Leditt Buttler, Y*100 Staff. These young men won the very spirited game played in spring. Who will win today?
