A local woman was arrested Saturday morning following an incident at a Central Lubbock apartment complex.
The incident occurred before 10:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of 48th Street at the Parmerton Apartments.
According to the police report, the suspect told officers she got into an argument with another woman at the apartment complex.
The suspect then told police she got into her vehicle where she revved up the engine to scare the other woman.
The vehicle accelerated toward the woman, who had to jump on the hood to avoid being struck.
The vehicle then crashed into the apartment building wall with someone on the other side.
The suspect told police the brakes had failed.
Police said the incident also caused damage to another vehicle.
No injuries were reported, according to the police report.
The suspect was identified as Sandra Brown in police records, however, Lubbock County Detention Center records identified her as Sandra Lee Weaver.
She is charged with two counts of aggravated assault – bodily injury with a deadly weapon.
