UPDATED LINK: LSO Releases Names After Murder-Suicide in Southeast Lubbock County

The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office was called after the report of a shooting in Southeast Lubbock County on Saturday night. They told EverythingLubbock.com it was most likely a domestic dispute. 

Deputies were called to the area of County Road 3460 and East Woodrow Road, near Slaton, around 8:30 p.m.

Emergency responders were initially believed to be treating multiple victims, but it was unclear exactly how many people were hurt.

Slaton Police said they received a call about a shooting, but no other details were available.

Law enforcement scanner traffic indicated critical, life-threatening injuries, but that information could not be confirmed yet from officers at the scene.

County crime scene investigators arrived at the scene shortly before 10:00 p.m.  A representative of the Lubbock County Medical Examiner arrived on scene just after 10:00 p.m. 

The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office did not give any names or number of victims. However, they added two juveniles and another adult witnessed it.
