On 02-29-2016 at approximately 1920 hours members of the Lubbock Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, Street Crimes Unit and SWAT Team served a high risk search warrant 2424 30th Street for methamphetamines and weapons.

A search was conducted and methamphetamine and heroin were located inside the residence along with seven firearms. The serial numbers on three of the firearms had been intentionally removed. Five of the weapons were reported stolen in recent burglaries that occurred in the City of Lubbock. The weapons included a short barreled AK-47 assault rifle, short barreled AR-15 assault rifle, one Kimber II .45 caliber pistol, one Remington 700 30.06 rifle, two sawed off  12 gauge shotguns and one muzzle loader.

Chad Stricklan was taken into custody and transported to the Lubbock County Detention Center and faces multiple state and federal charges.  The attached picture are some of the weapons found inside of the residence.
