McDonald’s restaurants in the Lubbock area will provide free breakfast to students taking the STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) test and their teachers Tuesday.

“We’re excited to support our local schools,” said Sam Kantar, McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “This is just one of the many ways we believe in giving back to the communities we serve.”

From 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. March 28 [2017], participating McDonald’s restaurants will offer select breakfast menu items for students in grades 3rd through 8th.

Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and will be able to select from the following menu items: Egg White Delight McMuffin® or Fruit & Maple Oatmeal, Apple Slices and their choice of 1% low-fat milk or Minute Maid® Apple Juice.*

Teachers are asked to bring a current school identification card.
