The Lubbock Bomb Squad was dispatched to a residence near Littlefield Saturday evening, according to a post on the Lamb County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
The social media post stated deputies were called to the residence for a possible World War II grenade that was found in a residential basement.
The Lubbock Bomb Squad later arrived on the scene and eventually cleared the area.
No other details on the incident were provided.
