The Lubbock Chorale is a nonprofit community choral organization with ties to the Texas Tech School of Music. They are performing a Messiah Singalong concert on Dec. 9.
During the dress rehearsal, they are doing a workshop and students will get to learn parts of the Messiah and be able to see the orchestra and chorale in action. This will be a great opportunity for kids that are interested in getting involved with the choir or orchestra.
In the past, the Lubbock Chorale has always done a Messiah concert, but this year they are offering a sing along. The production will be at Hemmel Recital Hall of the Texas Tech University School of Music at 7:30 p.m. You can get your tickets at Select-A-Seat or at www.lubbockchorale.org.
