Representatives of Lubbock-Cooper ISD will break ground on the district’s newest campus, Lubbock-Cooper East Elementary School, during a special ceremony at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 17. The ceremony will take place at the future site of the campus, southwest of 130th Street and University Avenue.
The public is invited to join the Lubbock-Cooper ISD Board of Trustees, district administrators, and members of the Lubbock community and Pirate Community for this milestone occasion.
East Elementary was approved by voters as part of Lubbock-Cooper’s May 2016 bond package. The school is scheduled to open in August 2018.
