Annie Crawford has been named the principal of Lubbock-Cooper ISD’s North Elementary. She previously spent one year as the English as a Second Language teacher at Laura Bush Middle School and Lubbock-Cooper Middle School. Prior to that, Crawford served two years as the principal of Farwell Elementary in Farwell ISD. Crawford is a native of Beeville, Texas and is a graduate of Lubbock Christian University and Texas Tech University. Crawford has 11 years of experience in public education, serving as a classroom teacher, English as a Second Language teacher, and administrator.
“My vision for the upcoming school year is that success is the only option,” Crawford said. “Lubbock-Cooper North is a learning environment where all students are encouraged to strive for excellence in a safe and supportive atmosphere. To ensure this happens, we envision a partnership between our school and the community that is based on a mutual collaboration between the teachers, staff, administrators, families, and community members. We encourage everyone at Lubbock-Cooper North to dream big and work cooperatively to succeed in building a brighter future.”
Lubbock-Cooper North Elementary opened in 2001. The campus was the second Lubbock-Cooper elementary school and the first Lubbock-Cooper campus constructed inside the City of Lubbock.
