The Lubbock County Democratic Party announced that a special meeting of the executive committee made up of precinct chairs to elect a new county chair was called by Secretary Debra Spencer in accordance with Texas Democratic Party Rules and would be held on Monday, December 12th, at 7:00 PM. The election will be held at Lubbock Democratic Headquarters located 2809-A 74th St.
Although only Democratic precinct chairs are allowed to vote, all meetings are opened. The chair-elect will take the position on December 15th.
