Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to a fire at the Rodeway Inn Friday evening.
The hotel, located at 48th Street & Avenue Q was evacuated after smoke was spotted in a stairway.
Crews spent approximately 20 minutes to put the fire out.
EverythingLubbock.com has learned the fire started on the first floor and worked its way up.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
