Lubbock ISD names Damon Jackson to post as Chief Technology Officer

Damon Jackson was named the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Lubbock ISD at the August 25 meeting of the LISD Board of Trustees. 

Prior to naming Jackson, Superintendent Berhl Robertson, Jr. and trustees recognized outgoing CTO Terry Driscoll for 21 his years of service and building an excellent IT foundation for the district. Jackson will begin his new role in mid-September.


Jackson is currently the Senior Infrastructure Manager for the City of Ft. Worth. He has been the CTO for the Tucson Unified School District in Tucson, Arizona, and for Ector County ISD in Odessa, Texas. His private industry experience includes Dell Computer Corporation and Hughes Aircraft. He is a veteran of the US Army, serving as a Signals Intelligence Analyst. Jackson is a West Texas native and received his bachelor’s degree from Lubbock Christian University.
