The Lubbock Police Department is searching for two men who robbed a local convenience store at gunpoint early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred in the 3800 block of 34th Street just before 2:30 a.m. at the 7-Eleven.
Lubbock Police told EverythingLubbock.com the two men entered the convenience store wearing black hoodies, black jeans and had their lower part of faces were covered with dark colored bandannas.
One of the men pointed a gun at the store clerk and demanded cash from the register. The second man reportedly began filling a back pack with miscellaneous items.
The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and the miscellaneous items that were placed in the back pack.
The suspects are described as a black male and a Hispanic male, both in their early 20s. The black male suspect is between 5’10” to 6″0″ tall and weighs 180 pounds. The Hispanic male suspect is approximately 5’8″ tall and weighs 160 pounds.
