Last night, Sunday, March 27, 2016 at approximately 11:02 p.m., patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting victim at UMC Emergency Room. The victim and three of his friends were at an unknown location on the “east side” when 4-5 suspects drove up and exited an unknown vehicle. The suspects and the victim and his friends became involved in a verbal altercation that escalated to the point where one of the suspects pulled a handgun and fired several rounds at the victim’s group. The victim was struck one time in the arm.
Patrol officers attempted to locate the crime scene with negative results. The suspects are described only as 4-5 black males.
