Lubbock Police on Tuesday morning were looking for the suspect responsible for an armed robbery at a South Lubbock 7-11. It happened at 4:30 AM at the 7-11 off 82nd Street and University Avenue.

Police describe the suspect as a white male in his 40’s, he left the store in a dark-colored, four-door car.

No one was injured and it is not known if that suspect left the story with any money.

Lubbock Police issued the following statement Tuesday morning:

On Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 4:30 a.m., patrol responded to a panic alarm at Seven Eleven, 8126 University Ave. The clerk informed the responding officers that she had just been robbed. The suspect came into the store with a plastic bag over his right hand as if he had a weapon and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5’05” to 5’08” tall
wearing a white shirt and white shorts.
