The Lubbock Police Department reports a man was transported to UMC early Saturday after being stabbed multiple times outside a North Lubbock apartment complex.
The incident occurred in the 1800 block of 3rd Street around 1:00 a.m.
Lubbock Police told EverythingLubbock.com the stabbing victim had been involved in an physical altercation at a separate location.
The victim then left that location and went to the Casa Orlando Apartments on 3rd Street
Three Hispanic males reportedly followed him to the apartment complex and attacked him. The victim then ran to the 1800 block of Sherman where he chased by the suspects and then stabled several times.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Joshua Rios. Rios was transported to University Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Lubbock Police are still searching for the suspects.
