Last night, at approximately 10:50 p.m., Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in the 1600 block of East Drew Street. They located a 2000 Ford F150 that had rolled and collided with a natural gas line causing the line to leak. The driver, William Oliver Isaacs – 52, died at the scene. Atmos Energy responded to the scene and fixed the gas leak.
The 1600 block of Drew Street is within the Lubbock City limits and the Lubbock Police Accident Investigation Team was called to the scene and assumed the investigation.
