The Lubbock Police Department is investigating two separate robberies that occurred this week at the EZ Mart located at 5444 50th Street. Investigators believe the suspect may be the same in both cases.
The first robbery occurred Monday just before 12:30 p.m. A white male entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded that she open the cash register. The suspect reached over the counter, took an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the store.
The second robbery occurred less than 48 hours later at the same location.
A white male wearing what appears to be the same hoodie from the first robbery enters the store and displays a handgun. The suspect demanded the clerk open the register. He reached over the counter, took the money from the register and then ran from the store.
