The Lubbock Police Department reports two people were shot late Saturday evening at a graduation party in Central Lubbock.
The shooting occurred in the 900 block of East 52nd Street just after 11:30 p.m.
Authorities told EverythingLubbock.com the two shooting victims were in the backyard of the residence attending the party. One of the victims got into an argument with another individual while at the party. This individual started to leave the backyard but pulled out a gun and fired one shot.
Police said the bullet struck the first victim in the right arm. The second victim was standing nearby and was inadvertently grazed on his right arm by the same round.
Both shooting victims were taken by private vehicle to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Lubbock Police have not released the names of the victims. The shooting victims were described a white male and a Hispanic male. The shooter was described by police as a Hispanic male.
