The Lubbock Police Department reports a woman was attacked with a box cutter by another woman following an argument early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred in the 2500 block of Date Avenue around 1:30 a.m.
Lubbock Police told EverythingLubbock.com Patrice Lewis, 20, was meeting with her ex-boyfriend to retrieve property from him.
His current girlfriend, identified as Erika Gambles, 17, got into an argument with Lewis during which she attacked her with a box cutter.
Lewis sustained injuries to he face and arm. Gamble sustained a cut on her hand.
Both women were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities said the two woman had a prior altercation earlier in the morning, around 1:00 a.m., outside a South Lubbock movie theater.
No arrests or charges have been made at this point.
