The City of Lubbock is ranked 25th in the nation among the best and worst cities for families, according to WalletHub.com.
WalletHub.com, a personal financial website, compared each of the 150 most populated U.S. cities across 30 key metrics. The data set ranges from crime rates to school system rankings to housing costs.
The “Hub City” ranked 25th overall among the 150 cities that were ranked by the website.

Plano came in second overall and was the highest ranked city in Texas. Dallas was ranked 69th, the lowest ranked city in Texas.
Overland Park, Kansas, topped the WalletHub list, while Jackson, Mississippi, was at the bottom.
