On Saturday, June 13, the Lubbock Texans Youth football team will put on a Car Smash Fundraiser from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Virginia College, located at 5005 50th St. Costs will be $2 for 2 hits, $5 for 5 hits and $10 for 12 hits. During your smashing good time, don’t forget to stop by the sign-up table for anyone (ages 5-12) who wants to play or cheer. Registration cost is $175. Also, Mr. Gatti’s will host a fundraiser on the 13th in light of the Car Smash from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you eat at Mr. Gatti’s and say LUBBOCK TEXANS sent you, they will donate a portion of the money to the team.
Then, mark your calendars for the Lubbock Texnas Golf Tournament on July 25. This will be a 4-man Scramble. The cost is $400 per team and you can register at lbktexans@gmail.com. For more information about the football team, visit www.lubbocktexans.com.
