Lubbock Pride will hold their annual Gay Pride Festival on Saturday, August 27.
The event will take place at Maxey Community Center from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Lubbock Pride is a family friendly event and all ages are encouraged to attend.
During the day there will be local vendors selling merchandise. There will also be local non-profit organizations, food trucks, live music and several guest speakers on hand.
The annual drag show begins at 7:00 p.m.
