The Lynn County Hospital District is a 24-bed facility servicing Tahoka, Lynn County, and surrounding areas.
“The district as a whole is a place where you’re going to be able to receive local healthcare by your friends and neighbors,” said Lynn County Hospital District CEO Jeff Barnhart .
The Tahoka community gives back too. Lynn County District partners with Tahoka Rodery Club every year for an auction to fund a new aspect of the facility. Last year, Lynn County District used the money to renovate their kitchen. Previously, they purchased new ambulances.
“For a lot of people it’s easy to drive 30 miles to receive health care,” said Barnhart. “But for some it’s very difficult and those really are the ones we want to try to take care of here.”
