Today, July 20, 2015, at approximately 12:30 a.m., patrol officers responded to a subject lying in the road at 200 Guava Ave. Officers arrived on the scene and based on evidence located, they determined that the subject was a victim of a hit and run crash. The driver of the suspect vehicle did not stop and render aid.
The LPD Accident Investigation Team was called to the scene and is investigating.
Mr. Clifford Doyle Hayes, 72 year old male, was transported to UMC Emergency Room with life threatening injuries.
