A Ft. Worth man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting two 13-year-old girls from Abilene in January, Robert Blaine Harris, 49, was arraigned on federal charges in Taylor County.

Harris was indicted by a grand jury on April 13 for two counts of coercion and enticement of a minor.  He was already facing state charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and kidnapping.

Harris was accused of driving to Abilene and picking up the girls.  He was accused of taking the girls back to his home in Ft. Worth where they were involved in an improper relationship.

One of the teens spoke out to KTAB and KRBC in Abilene saying she and her friend had met Harris on a social media site called Skout.

In 2006, Harris was convicted under the Uniform Code of Military Justice for indecent assault against two women, ages 29 and 32.  He was sentenced to serve thirty days in jail and required to register as a sex offender until November of 2021.
