A Wichita Falls man is in jail Monday after police say he threw a shovel through a window injuring a one-year-old.
Officers arrested 24-year old Keitrael Collins for burglary to a habitation and injury to a child.
Police say on Sunday morning Collins began arguing with a homeowner at his girlfriend’s house in the 1600 block of Lucas Avenue and began banging on the front door.
When the door wasn’t opened for him they say Lucas used a shovel to break a window and threw the shovel inside.
Officers say a 1-year-old child and the homeowner’s daughter whom Collins is dating were near that window and the broken glass cut the child’s lip.
Collins is being held on $60 thousand dollars bond.
