Wichita Falls Police Department officials said a man called authorities to help him get the $10 that he says his drug dealer owed him.
Wichita Falls Police say the drug deal happened in the 1100 block of Monroe Street, but the man called officers from the parking lot of Lamar Baptist church.
When officers arrived on the scene, the man told them his dealer owed him $10 in change for the methamphetamine he purchased.
The man then told officers that he threw the bag of drugs in a bush next to the church.
Wichita Falls Police said when they found the bag drugs, they believed it to actually be some sort of salt. A field test was conducted on the substance and it came back negative for methamphetamine.
The man was issued a citation for soliciting to acquire a controlled substance.
