The Ector County Sheriff’s Office is investigating following a shooting at Jaguars early Saturday morning.

Around 2:00 a.m., the victim and witness arrived at Jaguars and had an argument with five other people who were leaving the club.

The victim and his friends were refused entry into the club due to the verbal argument. They then went back to their vehicle, walking by the suspect vehicle, an orange Charger.

When the victim and his friend drove by the suspect vehicle to leave the parking lot, the Charger immediately followed them. As the victim’s vehicle pulled onto Cargo Road, the people inside the Charger began shooting at them.

The victim was struck in the lower right back side, a non life-threatening injury.

The Charger continued chasing the victims vehicle but they were able to eventually lose them.

The victim was then taken to the Medical Center Hospital emergency room. The victim was treated and then released.
