The Big Spring Police Department said on Thursday in a written statement that officers were investigating a shooting.
Police said, Michael Nall, 37, was shot in the chest Wednesday night. Police were called to a residence in the 1000 block of South Scurry Street.
Police said, “Preliminary reports suggest the shooter is known by the residents of 1007 S. Scurry and the shooter had arrived at the residence with the intent of shooting Nall.”
Late Thursday morning yourbasin.com reported, “Nall was airlifted to Medical Center Hospital and is currently listed in fair condition, according to hospital officials.”
On Sunday night, Big Spring officers were called to the 400 block of Westover Road to find Michelle Drake, 56, shot and killed. Police have not said yet if the two cases are related.
Regarding Drake’s death, police said, “The Criminal Investigations Division is actively investigating this incident as a homicide.”
