The Parmer County Sheriff’s Office said Jesus Rogelio Morales, 23, of Clovis was shot and killed Friday at the Tuls Cattle Company #4 four miles east of Farwell. Officers were called at about 1:30 pm for the report of a shooting.
A suspect, Francisco Javier Moreno Gutierrez, 38, of Clovis, was arrested Saturday in Curry County according to the the PCSO.
“A preliminary investigation found Morales to have multiple gunshot wounds,” PCSO said in a written statement. “Both Moreno and Morales were employees at Tuls Cattle Company at the time of the shooting.”
PCSO did not say what led up to the shooting.
