Muhammed Rafiq of Plano was sentenced Friday in Lubbock federal court to almost three-and-a-half years in prison for a drug-related charge. In August of 2014, Plainview police caught Rafiq with 999 packets of synthetic marijuana and $78,180.
Police received a complaint that Rafiq was smoking marijuana so they responded to his location and found him inside a rental car. They also found the synthetic marijuana.
