A benefit concert is being held Sunday afternoon and evening for the family of Mark Ysasaga.
The concert is taking place Backstage, located at 1711 Texas Avenue, in the Depot District.
Among the acts scheduled to perform are Mariachi Gema, Double Barrel, Angelica Hart, Steven Shedd, Matt
Morgan, Early Morning Reign, The Kinky Wizards, Sindel, Lies Camera Aktion and Brittan Church.
Donations are encouraged and all proceeds will go to the Ysasaga family.
“Some of us know how hard it can be to lose a loved one. Especially in a financial aspect. So we’ve decided to host a benefit concert for a life gone to soon,” a statement said on Facebook event page set up for the concert.
The concert is scheduled until 11:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
