The Lubbock Police Department is investigating the armed robbery of a local convenience store early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at the 7-Eleven, located at 5001 University Avenue, at approximately 3:19 a.m.
Authorities tell EverythingLubbock.com a masked man entered the convenience store armed with a baseball bat and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
Lubbock Police say they do not have a clear description of the suspect at this time,
