Despite the snowy conditions, Meals on Wheels volunteers managed to deliver hot meals and flowers to everyone listed on their routes.
The Ezra family delivers food every Friday, and Kari Ezra said even the snow wouldn’t keep her and her kids away.
“We decided to come in because we really enjoy meals on wheels whether the rain in the snow, anything, if we are able to we really try to do that. ” said Ezra.
Some of the people on their list receive ‘weekend snack bags’ and newspapers aside from the meals and flowers. Ezra said oe of her favorite stops is by Lu Bishop’s house.
“This morning it was so snowy I could hardly get the garage door open and here they came, all the whole family with a wonderful meal.” said Bishop.
