Chartered by Congress in 1958, the Military Order of the Purple Heart is composed of military men and women who received the Purple Heart Medal for wounds suffered in combat wounded. They support all veterans and their families with a myriad of nation-wide program by Chapters and National Service Officers.

Chapter 0900 is located in Lubbock, Texas and meets every 3rd Saturday of each month at 1000 hours (10:00 am).

They are a 501-C (19) (3) Non-profit group that helps veterans who have been awarded the Purple Heart Medal for wounds received in combat action, but are not limited solely to the combat wounded. They also help veterans that have not been injured in war; veterans that have never deployed; and regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, etc. For more information, call (806) 829-2400 or go online to www.mophchapter0900.com.
